As the clock strikes twelve on New Year's Eve sharing a kiss with your loved one is hardly uncommon. But Vanessa Hudgens and her beau Austin Butler appeared to be getting in plenty of practice ahead of the big event, as they indulged in yet another public kissing session yesterday. The 23-year-old actress was seen lying on top of her boyfriend sharing a series of passionate smooches as they enjoyed a day by the pool in Miami.
Vanessa and Austin, 20, have been enjoying a rather amorous holiday with friends in the Florida hotspot and they appear unable to tear themselves away from one another. The High School Musical star showed off her shape in a pair of high-waisted daisy dukes and a peach cropped top over her bikini.
And despite sharing a sunbed with friends Vanessa didn't tone down her PDA with Austin and was seen lying flat on top of him as they shared several kisses. With all the practice they have been doing of late the couple had their New Year's Eve kiss perfected and were seen indulged in yet more smooches as they rang in 2012 at the Fontainebleau Hotel later that evening.
Vanessa donned a tiny black sequined skirt and a glittering gold top to ring in the New Year. Meanwhile her beau looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and black tie. Austin and his girl have been seen throughout their holiday smooching up a storm, and the couple appear more in love, or at least in lust, than ever.
On Thursday Vanessa was seen straddling her boyfriend and she couldn't keep her hands, or her lips, off her man. Austin,also proved to be quite the exhibitionist and was seen wrapping his arms around Vanessa as she sat on top of him. Perhaps the cocktails the couple had been indulging in had loosened their inhibitions although the couple are no stranger to public displays of affection. Although given that Austin is underage for consuming alcohol let's hope he had stuck to mocktails.
While Vanessa has an incredible figure the actress had decided to cover up her sexy shape with a pair of oversize denim overalls. Her 80s-style bib and trousers combination made the High School Musical star appear much larger than she actually is. However, as soon as she disrobed and revealed her crocheted black one-piece bathing suit, the brunette beauty was a changed woman.
But the actress ensured that she made the most of her big reveal and almost offered her boyfriend a strip tease as she took off the dungarees in front of him. All male eyes were on the actress as she took the ugly jean cover-up off to lounge poolside. Of course, the only pair of eyes she cared about were those of her boyfriend, Zoey 101 star Austin Butler, but given she was stood in front of him she didn't have to worry about catching his eye.
Her tactics certainly paid off and it was not long before the actress was lying next to her beau as he wrapped his arm around her. And it appeared the couple's friends were not put off but the PDA and joined the twosome on the bed they were sharing. Vanessa was seen sitting up talking with her friends but even though she was right next to him Austin was seen putting a protective and lovely hand on her back.
The two have been dating since September and appear to be inseparable, having holed up with one another over the holidays. Austin seemed to appreciate his girlfriend in whatever she wore, boldly announcing via his T-shirt that he was a taken man. He wore a black V-necked shirt with the words 'Not For Sale' emblazoned on it in white writing. She and the 20-year-old walked hand-in-hand around the pool before settling down with friends to soak up the sun. Although her poolside style was hit or miss, her career appears to be going swimmingly. She has signed on to appear in the crime drama Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez, James Franco, Emma Roberts and Glee's Heather Morris.
The film's plot involves four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break holiday They find themselves bailed out by a drugs and weapons dealer who wants the harmless-looking ladies to do his dirty work. The film is set to be shot in the spring of 2012 and slated for a 2012 release date.
