Vanessa Hudgens has admitted that she loves to shop online. In fact, she considers her penchant for on-line shopping one of her guilty pleasures. But, aside from being able to shop for hours without dropping or getting blistered feet, she basically hates the Internet. In other words, La Hudgens has a love-hate relationship with the World Wide Web, and it's mostly hate. Why?
"I do hate the internet," admits Vanessa. "I mean I love it because it makes shopping on-line possible... But, aside from that, the internet just makes everything way too accessible. Like back in the day studios controlled what the audiences saw of the celebrities, the actors, but nowadays there's paparazzi following you around every single day."
That may be true. Of course there were paparazzi back in the big studio days as well. But the pics they snapped were confined to the print media, the newspapers and the so-called movie magazines that were the Internet of their day. Nevertheless, Vanessa Hudgens has a point. With the Internet, celebrities' movements, indiscretions, and even thoughts are now made instantly accessible to millions of people all over the world.
Of course, the tug of war between celebrities and the paparazzi who "prey" on them is a two-way street. Sometimes, the stars set themselves up for the paps by flaunting what should be their private lives in public. Vanessa Hudgens' sexy make out session with boyfriend Austin Butler last month was a prime example.
