Vanessa Hudgens could be on track to rekindle her romance with Zac Efron: Celebrity blogger Zack Taylor has recently claimed that the actress playing Blondie in "Sucker Punch" has been exchanging text messages with the "Charlie St. Cloud" actor after they decided to split recently.

"[Zac and Vanessa] are text messaging each other a lot," one of Vanessa's friends informed the blogger. "I know [Vanessa] misses him, and doesn't like the fact that she will be alone for New Years." The so-called pal further spilled that the "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" beauty "has been on one date" since the split, but found it "just wasn't for her".

Report of Vanessa and Zac parting ways after years of dating surfaced on December 14. At that time, one of their pals insisted to E! News that their break-up was amicable. "It's nothing dramatic. There's no third party involved. They are still talking and still friends. There's no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up," so the inside source said.

Vanessa herself admitted that she indeed has kept a good relationship with Zac post-split.
