Vanessa Hudgens act in her new film 'Beastly': CBS Films had originally pushed back the film's release to March 18, 2011. Now, however, the movie will come out two week earlier on March 4, according to Box Office Mojo. The flick is based on Alex Flinn's young-adult novel of the same title, where New York teen Kyle Kingson, played by Alex Pettyfer, is turned into a monster after bailing out on a date. In order to break the curse, Kingson has to find his true love, a role that is played by Hudgens.

This modern day take on "Beauty and the Beast" goes up against other films that are being released around the same time such as "The Adjustment Bureau," "Apollo 18," "Rango," and "Take Me Home Tonight."
