Vanessa Hudgens became the talk of Hollywood, when she chopped of her lovely long locks for her role in the movie Gimme Shelter. Now, Vanessa has revealed that, although her character does not look very special, she is truly a fighter at heart.
Hudgens explained, “I play this girl who is homeless and she doesn’t really care about her look very much. I kinda look like a boy throughout the movie. She’s been abused and put in foster homes and she’s not doing too well. So she cuts of her hair for a new beginning. This girl starts off just worthless, she doesn’t have anything, she has no self esteem. She’s been through the ringer.”
She added, “She goes and she carries on and she keeps on fighting. She is a fighter and has so much strength within her, which I think is such an incredible thing, to have nothing. In the end she becomes a mother, which is a beautiful transformation.” Gimme Shelter is set to be released next year.
